You define in rule definition for revenues increasing the budget for which master data objects - commitment item, funds center, and fund - generic entries are possible.
If you want to define a rule that is to be valid in a certain functional area (commitment item) for all funds centers, you must flag Funds center.
No generic entries are possible in the standard system. You must make your own rule for each revenues FM account assignment whose revenues are to have a budget increasing effect.
Select those master data objects for which you need generic entries in rule maintenance.
