_ISTNLMALERTCA - Assign Alert Categories to Telecommunications-Specific Usage Types

In this activity you assign telecommunications-specific usage types to the alert categories defined in the transaction ALRTCATDE. These usage types represent commercial processes. The following telecommunications-specific usage types are available for alert categories:

• Alert category for SLA (service level agreement) violations of PM orders (component Plant Maintenance)

• Alert category for orders rejected by the technician responsible for processing

• Alert category for emergency repair orders without an assigned technician

You must specify a validity start and a validity end for the telecommunications-specific usage type of an alert category. The definition of the usage type for an alert category only applies during this validity period.

If necessary, you can create new alert categories and assign these to a telecommunications-specific usage type.

1. Choose New Entries.
2. Select the telecommunications-specific usage type for the alert category.
3. Specify the period during which the telecommunications-specific usage type for the alert category is to be valid.
4. Specify the alert category for which you have created a telecommunications-specific usage type.
5. Save your entries.
