In this Customizing activity you define the consumption pattern for a customer with TOU billing.

The consumption pattern categorizes the way in which the profile for a customer appears in various formats and is required during the simulation. The system assigns a synthetic profile to each consumption pattern in the respective production system, which can be used to simulate TOU billing. The consumption pattern is recorded in the TOU interface.

You must specify a division and an interval length (length of the associated synthetic profile) for each consumption pattern.

You assign a consumption pattern to a synthetic profile on the SAP Easy Access screen for the respective system under SAP menu → Utilities Industry → Billing → Master Data → AMI: Time-Of-Use Interface → Change Consumption Pattern to Profile Assignment.
