The thermal gas billing period is prorated if one of the following gas components is changed:
- Gas procedure
- Calorific value district
- Measured pressure of the register (only if the MP Proration field is selected in the volume correction factor procedure)
- Gas pressure area
- Gas correction pressure
- Temperature area
- Fixed temperature key
- Air pressure area
- Altitude correction pressure
- Set or actual gas law deviation factor in the register
The resulting time slices are considered seperately.
If, in Customizing under SAP Utilities → Basic Settings / Enterprise Structure → Quantity Determination → Define Indicators for Quantity Determination Procedure, you have defined Quantity Determination During Billing as the quantity determination procedure for the gas division, thermal gas billing takes place between two meter reading dates. From the changes listed above, only a change to the measured pressure does not require meter reading. Therefore, for Quantity Determination During Meter Reading, only a change to the measured pressure can lead to proration in the thermal gas billing period.
