If you have defined the quantity determination procedure Quantity Determination During Meter Reading for the gas division, you have to make additional settings for the gas factor determination.

You can make these settings and find more informatiom about the gas factor determination in Customizing for Contract Billing under Special Functions -> Gas Billing.
