Line &23 failed. HDLC link disconnected. (C G R)
Message Long Text :
Cause . . . . . : The high-level data link control (HDLC) data link has been disconnected remotely. The probable causes are:
-- The network
-- The local system
Recovery . . . :
Use the DSPMSG command to display messages on the system operator message queue (QSYSOPR) or the configured message queue. Determine if the system sent other messages relating to line &23 at about the same time the system sent this message. Follow the recovery steps in any related messages.
If an X.25 network connects the local system to the remote system, contact the X.25 network administrator to ensure that the X.25 network is ready for an HDLC link connection.
If a modem eliminator (or equivalent) connects the local system to the remote system, contact the remote system operator to ensure that the remote system is ready for an HDLC link connection.
Then do one of the following:
-- Type C to cancel recovery and to inform any applications that are waiting for an operation that the recovery has been canceled.
-- Type G to start the automatic communications recovery again as defined by the system communications recovery limit (CMNRCYLMT parameter) for line &23.
-- Type R to try the operation one more time.
If the problem continues, press F14 to run problem analysis.
Possible choices for replying to message . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . :
C -- Cancel.
G -- Start automatic recovery again.
R -- Try again one more time.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : The error log identifier is &22.
The error code is &40: The network sent a disconnect (DISC) command during HDLC link establishment.
