BAL_S_MDEF - Application Log: Message Defaults

This structure describes the possible message defaults.

• LOG_HANDLE
  Default log in which a message is put.
  You can pass the log in which a message is to be put in function modules such as BAL_LOG_MSG_ADD. This parameter I_LOG_HANDLE is optional. If it is not passed (or is initial), the default log, which can be set here with the LOG_HANDLE, is used.

• ==>Note
  If the function module BAL_LOG_CREATE is called and no default log has been set, the log created by BAL_LOG_CREATE becomes the default log.

• DETLEVEL
  Level of detail of a message.

• PROBCLASS
  Problem class of a message.

• CONTEXT
  Context of a message (can only be used for T100 messages and not for exceptions).

• PARAMS
  Parameters of a message (can only be used for T100 messages and not for exceptions).
